Because college provides various facilities to the students. College Infrastructure is fully maintained. And the reputation of the college is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BE Computer because I’m interested in computer-related things. The faculty is very good. A faculty: student ratio is 1:10. They use various teaching methods like visualisation, cooperative learning, professional development.

College offers me various internships but that time I’m not interested in an internship. College gives you more opportunities for increasing skill set.

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There 50+ companies are visited for placement purposes like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and much more. 60% of students getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of mine is 108000 per year & there is KJ scholarship for merit students.

Campus Life

The Kj youth fest is arranged in February month. There is a central library which contains more than 10000+ books. And for every department, there is a departmental library. There is huge ground for sports like cricket, football and many more.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning.
