Remarks

Overall, this college is best, if you want to sudy in Aurangabad District. No other college of this town matches this standard.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

BSC maths developes you a high reasoning power. Curriculum is generally covered by teachers. It is at par with other universities. However, there is a need of more qualified teachers, so that the burden may be shared among them. Usually one/ two teachers are available for each subject. Looking the length of stream of students, teacher is to students ratio is not as good as should be as per norms.

Placement Experience

3

This college has mainly able to get placement of its students who enrolled for technical or vocational courses.

College Events

4.5

Apart of usual programme like republic Day, independence day. The college also celebrate many other day with zeal and enthusiasm like Environmental day, alumni meets, sports, cultural, discussion on burning issues. As stated earlier, you will get a group of intelligent students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is Govt college. Fee is nominal. It means it is feasible, that can be meet out by even a poor student. You may also get stipends on subject to fullfilment of certain criteria. In 2006-08, it was only 1200-1500 per year apart from exam fee, that also costs approx same of annual fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, as desribed above, you may try for stipends on subject to full filment of certain criteria like caste, income, marks etc. Also, many banks offer loans for its vocational or technical courses.

Campus Life

5

There is no such restrictions with co- education. They can study together. Their relationship are co-ordinal. Seperate wash rooms or other essential needs are provided to both of gender. There is no such high political drama in the college. Every student treated equally without any differentiate between caste, religion, colour, gender, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has to do many such things in this regard. Sometimes, it becomes political on alumni. As it has a vast history so naturally it cretes a long network of alumni, which certainly help current students.

Admission

Already passed out. Then I got admission through Class X marks. I got admission in 2002 for I. Sc. maths. Then, this course is offered to students who secured atleast 60% marks in class X. After that, I got admission in BSc. At present, you have to score more than 75% marks to secure a seat for your enrollment.

Faculty

4

Generally professors are highly qualified having doctrate / phd degrees. They are expertise of their subjects. A lecture lasts for 1-1&1/2 hours. Overall, daily you have 3 lectures. But it rarely completed all lectures. Sometimes due to lack of students, or non availability of teachers, lectures are suspended.
