College management is average. They hear the problems of the student very well but sometimes the response is delayed otherwise it's very nice.

The undergraduate course of MBBS is very much typical with theory classes and practicals combined with a study hour of 8am-4pm. In post-graduation research based study is done where we collect data of the different patient complaints, their treatment, operative procedures and post operative outcomes. We are also helped with the research paper presentation and poster presentation in different state and national conferences held in different states of India. Regular presentation based on important case reports are done in seminar hall. In Operation theater we are allowed to assist the faculties in the surgical procedures. It gives better exposure and insight of the course and helps us to understand the treatment protocol in a better way. It helps us to gain knowledge that will help us to perform proedures independently under guidance of seniors.

I have done 1 year compulsory rotatory internship from 7/03/2017 to 6/03/2018. We are always offered jobs from leading medical colleges and Hospitals in patna and nearby cities with handsome salary. Government of Bihar also do recruitment on large scales for general and specialised doctors from our college. Some students even opt to go abroad by qualifying examinations like USMLE and PLAB. Our teachers helps us a lot to get the job that suits our personality and lifestyle. They always have a session where they make us aware about the tough situations in the professional life coming ahead. I have never seen any of my colleague unemployed in last 6 yrs. They either join bihar govt health department as general or specialised doctor or join private hospitals. So I would say it have a almost 100% placement rate.

College foundation day, Sports week, Saraswati pooja, Cultural fest, New Year Party, Nalanda Premier League(T20 cricket). Every year we invite a national known singer to our college in cultural fest. We have a whole week full of competitions and fun events before College foundation day.

It's a higly subsidised College. For UG course fee is around 10000 per year with added hostel fee of 4800 annually. For PG it is 5000 per year and the hostel facilty is free for the resident doctors. Mess charges are based on your bill monthly which is roughly 2500 per month.

I didn't avail for any scholarship from college. State govt sponsored scholarships are given to poor students for which they need to submit application in the student section approved by the principal.

The campus life is very nice the surrounding area is very good. boys and girls are almost in the same numbers and there are lots of extra curricular activities to do such as table tennis cricket football. regular sports competitions are held in our college especially during the sports week and Nalanda premier league is very famous all the the colleges are invited from Patna. The campus is screen full of trees we have to playgrounds at a sufficiently large for cricket and football.

Yes. Me being a postgraduate student am provided with a single bed room which is sufficiently large for one student. It is free of cost except the mess charges. We have to buy our own furniture. Electricity is free in hostel and we are allowed to use AC and Room heaters.

We have a magazine that is distributed every year on College foundation Day which mentions about the research papers and the the achievements by every alumni. senior are very helpful and very good interactions between juniors and seniors in the college they helped us with the question papers notes and the necessary items that are needed in our education examination procedures.

I have AIPMT 2012 and got AIR1975 and got admission in this college through online counselling on 11/08/2012 in the MBBS course. After completing my MBBS and one year internship I appeared for NEET PG in 2018 and secured and AIR 8311 and got admission in the MS general Surgery PG course through state merit list and joined the college on 28/05/2018.

The faculty of the college are highly qualified with decades of teaching experience. In my department their are 3 professors, 7 associate professors, 13 assistant professors, 18 Seniors residents. All of them are very good surgeons. Some of them are very well known for their skills and experience in the field of surgery.
