Remarks

The college management is Good. They are not providing a good canteen in the college and not expanding college dimensions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of the college is basically based on Kerala Technical University. It follows semester patterns for the academic exams. Various technical skills are developed through tech fest and IEEE events in the curriculum. The academic includes various industrial visits and webinars to get the technical qualified skills to the students.

College Events

4.5

The combined cultural & technical event is known as Samyoga. It consists of various arts n tech events. Its held every winter period. The tech fest's main attraction is Auto Expo. The main attraction of arts fest is Pro events. The samyoga usually holds 3 Days of events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is 75000 per year of the course period of my B-Tech course. The college provides loan facilities to the students. The students can repay the loan after the course period and can enter the job. There are additional university fees. No transparency in the fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a central sector scholarship. It paid 10000 per annum. I got this scholarship based on HSE marks.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio of college is 1:1. There are good workshops available. There is no discrimination btw students by the college management. There is no campus politics inside the college. The college authorities are very strict and follow strict discipline.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes. The college hostel is very well maintained and good rooms for students. The monthly rentals are around 4000. The hostel provides good food in this rental. The hostel has good hygiene and a clean atmosphere. A good warden for students and 24 hours of security available.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is satisfactory. They held alumni meets every year. Recently they held alumni meet in UAE in the presence of the college chairman.

Admission

I got the admission through KEAM entrance exam merit list. Since I am on the merit list and I got admission for mechanical engineering. My fees are also fair because of the merit list of candidate. There are management seats and NRI seat allocation to the candidates which are quite expensive.

Faculty

4

Most of the faculties are highly qualified. Most of them are qualified with M-Tech and good teaching experience. Few of the professors hold doctoral degrees also. They have good communication skill with the students also. Each faculty has well knowledge in their subjects.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows
