Remarks

There's a lot of issues in that college. The management is aware of it. They don't need people telling them about it. They just start working on it and clearing it one by one. I believe it can definitely be the best college for any student of the management wants to achieve that.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The learning was pretty much very theoretical. We didn't have any faculty who could help us with a practical sessions. No lectures would come to give seminars. There was jus mug up the syllabus and write exam kind of system. We didn't have IV. The placement was horrible. We had 2, 3 companies who came in for selecting. Those were banks were the work was outsourced sales.

Placement Experience

1

As mentioned in previous answers. It was horrible. Don't ever expect to get placed in Ur dream job. You can get a job. You will earn peanuts for jobs. We had degree students placement cell working for us as well so the requirements for the job was degree level education and MBA students had no option but to attend those placement interviews.

College Events

1.5

We had all sort of event in "Ramaiah" but MSRCAS isnt Ramaiah. We have everything separate. I would say the ug department still managed to have some activities. While MBA department was jus 120 students and teachers who could not attend any of the other department festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. Again as mentioned being in a management seat you pay doubly what others paym it's jus so easy calculation. Your fees is double the merit seat which we couldn't get even if we had the best grades in the entrance exam we wrote.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't opted for any loans. My parnts paid all my fees. I know it's stupid. But I'm India, parnts paying fees isn't considered a big deal. It's kind of considered like their responsibility. I m totally against it. So trying to pay back them now.

Campus Life

5

Being in the town. We had diversity. It was a welcoming environment to all students. Evn though stupid language fights happen with class. I remember having a malayalm speaking group and a Kannada speaking group in college who use to consider themselves enemies.

Alumni/Alumna

No. Once u pass out. you escape that world. You jus stay till you get your certificate. Once you have it in hand. you never bother to turn back.

Admission

I got into the management seat since I m not from the state of Karnataka that's the only option to get admission. We had to collect a admission form. fill in the details. have some contacts with some politically strong people in Karnataka. You are supposed to write an exam Kmat which is compulsory.

Faculty

1.5

The faculty weren't knowledgeable. I being a student with an industry experience of 2 years had a very bad experience when the teachers were hardly my age and with no experience. They were jus passout from previous years who would be teaching us. I m sure the things might have changed now because I remember the last time I had a call with my friends I happen to know none of the faculty who taught us are there.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.
