Entrance Preview

Well, to get into NMKRV I did not write any exam, it was just through my SSLC marks and the interview by the faculty of the college. I choose commerce in NMKRV because of the experienced faculty and the best training been given. It is a women's college and one of the oldest colleges in Bangalore in my family studying this college was a tradition, as all the female members in my family have studied in this college it is prestigious studying in NMKRV.

My course was commerce my electives were mathematics and statistics. This is the best combination to start your career with you will be studying in detail mathematics and statistics the faculties are highly experienced in their subject the can convey at their best to the students.

Internships Opportunities

I had no internship for PU no doubts about the faculties of the college they are highly qualified and experienced the take personal interest towards the students they clarify the doubts of the students how many ever times asked the college owns the best of best faculty.

Hostel Facilities

The best PG and very healthy food is being provided by the hostel best facilities are given to the students flexible timings and timely food is being provided.

Placement Experience:

To be honest ssmrv has a good placements options available when you are in the final year or will be open and from 5 th semester you will be eligible for placement and as everyone are freshers the salary is to low and average package should be 4lac lpa. Some of the companies that has offered me during placement are KPMG, Deloitte and Accenture also hdfc bank Only 30-40% get selected for placement most get rejected or student will have plan for further studies. One of my friend got the highest package in the class which was 624000/lpa I had thought of persuing mba so did not accept any offers but once I completed degree gave interview in my own and got selected.

Placement Experience:

Students starts getting internships from the second year, mostly the firms which hire people for internships make them get placed after they graduate. Also, there will be a summer internship program during the summer holiday days after the second year which is mandatory almost 70 to 80% of the final years get placed either a big firm or a small firm. 5th semester students eligible for campus placement. ICICI Bank, Infosys, wipro, TCS, HDFC Bank. Number of offers i received is 2 and i went through only 2 and it got success.
