Management was much strict during our time compared to the management in older days.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was 3 year course divided into 6 semesters. There are 2 internal exams and 1 University exam during every semester and there is a final year project during the end semester. The curriculum is well groomed by much experienced facilities and they provide industrial visits during the end semester.
Placement Experience
I have only studied undergraduate courses in the institute there was no placement drives in that time. But they do provide information of the job openings in various fields related to the course chosen. So for better information of placement related queries its better to consult with people who have or whose doing postgraduate course in the instruction.
College Events
Sports day 3 days programme Arts day 5 days programme College union day Festival celebrations Onam and Christmas Management day Annual day Commerce day and each department celebrates like this University Kalostavam Every students according to their skills they participate in each programme.
Fee Structure And Facilities
9000 was my fees structure for my course in self financing department which was the least of all other courses in that department, and this is fees of a student in the college for each semester. The fees of the aided students is mucb less in aided department. And for each course the fees structure is also different.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan. But tbere is scholarship for student in the college if they opt for it.
Campus Life
Campus life is the one thing I miss now. This institution have the best campus area in Kollam district. Gender ratio is almost equal. But during the first few semester there was a protest in college against girls being forced to go to quadrangle during the free times and even for breaks, later on it was shifetd.
Alumni/Alumna
I just graduated last year in 2019 but I have contact with many alumni members and most of the lectures who are teaching there are most the students who have passed out from their itself.
Admission
I joined the institute in 2016. One of the best institution in Kollam and every student likes to join this campus. For admission there during my time it was through the institute itself, have to buy admission form and fill and give it back. And you have to wait till the date they prepare merit list of the students applied.
Faculty
The institute have a large number of well trained and experienced lecturers. They also have freshers who come out directly and join the institute as guest lecturers for a period of 1 year. The experience level of lectures is much high, institute have lectures who have completed more than 15 years in this field.
