Remarks

SRM is well known for its discipline and placement training. This is the main reason I joined SRM. It conducts various kinds of activities to help students to get ready to face the professional world.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is perfectly suited for the students. Along with the main course, we are also trained separately for the placements. We have monthly internals along with the main university exams. And every semester, we also have an extract course mainly focusing on practical skills.

Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fees are 2 lacks/yr and I was enrolled on the basis of merit. We are also offered some scholarships based on our academic performance.

Campus Life

A very safe and friendly environment. We have various kinds of events every month, hosted by the senior students for the whole campus. And the biggest fun comes with the annual fest of each department. Moreover, Senior students are very helpful by nature.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG. Entrance is their for SRM University and one has to clear that to get admission here.
