Remarks

The campus life at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences - [MUHS] is good including the faculty and curriculum. Although some additional services in the library and laboratory can be really helpful to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Master is Occupational therapy includes subjects like muscolosketel, neurology, and many others which were very interesting to learn, and on the other hand too lengthy and complex. The exam structure was based on a year-wise examination system so there were a total of four main exams to complete a master's degree.

Placement Experience

4

There are some job opportunities in fields like public and private services, rehabilitation services, some special schools, industrial medical facilities. The top recruiters who hire students from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences are Help Age India, Apollo Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Hosmat hospitals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is much feasible for almost every student and from my point of view there is no requirement of scholarship or any other aid. the yearly fees are 7500 and 6100 for other services by the university. the amount is the same for the next year.

Campus Life

4

There are several facilities like labs, gymnasium, cafeteria, and a digital library. The library has numerous books and several copies for almost everyone tread. The gym has modern equipment to stay healthy for all. The Digital library is a nice feature developed by the university.

Alumni/Alumna

I didn't find any alumni network during my study time. However, some seniors helped in my study. At the library, we used to discuss several aspects of the same subject and I got to know well in advance about the preparation style required to score high.

Admission

I applied to the Master of Occupational therapy in several universities. But my preference was Maharashtra University of Health Sciences - [MUHS] my grades were no that high, still, I wanted to do masters in this particular field. The admission process requires a graduation degree with all the required documents. It can be online as well as on-campus.

Faculty

3.5

The teaching staff was good enough to provide extensive knowledge on the topic related but they didn't have much experience as they have passed their universities two or maybe three years ago only. However, if you approach them they can guide you easily.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements do not occur after completion of course. However, since you are a pass out from this premier institute, you have an edge above others while securing jobs. Also during your course tenure, you are encouraged by the faculty and guide to participating in lots of research activities. That too adds plus point to your resume.

Administration is horribly managed and dependent on one person. The head is not very involved. Most of The staff is incompassionate. It is a frustating and unhealthy environment for most students. But it teaches us a lot including self reliance, hard work and insane management and coping skills.
