Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum was really good and includes interesting subjects such as Photography, Film Appreciation atc. It is designed keeping in mind that it is a distance course so many of the students will be self-reliant for studies. However, it is still very good and covers all the necessary subjects required to score a good education.
Placement Experience
The college has a good reputation despite being open universities and finding a job should not be too hard if you have good command over your language. I was also able to complete an internship with a leading firm because the distance learning course allowed me to have a lot of time in my hands.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite low and affordable for many people. The fee for the first and second year comes to just around 2,500 rupees, inclusive of all the other miscellaneous fees. The fees has to be paid in the college itself and is an easy process overall.
Campus Life
There are students coming from all kinds of backgrounds to MKU DDE. Some students are extremely rich, some are entrepreneurs and have their own businesses, some people are retired and are studying out of interest, some have a very low financial background. The college does not discriminate on any grounds during admission and the low fees ensure accessibility to all students.
Admission
The admission process is entirely online and is very easy to do. Admission is secure and this makes it one of the best, easy, and stressfree admission processes I have ever done in my entire life. You just have to submit documents online and fill in the details and that is it. The eligibility is on the website.
Faculty
On Average, the faculty is quite good. The professors have all at least cleared NET or SET examinations and most of them have PhD's or are doing their PhD's. Many of the professors in MKUDDE have been teaching for several decades now. The professors are available for us during office times.
