Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very good. The results, exam time table is always announced on time and it is very efficient. There are a lot of subjects to cover such as Banking Law and Practice, Principles of Management and Environment of Business, Entrepreneurship etc. The traditional semester system is followed.
Placement Experience
There is some scope of improvement with regards to placements in Bachelors courses for the students of Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate of Distance Education. Job fairs are held, however and they are always a great opportunity for us to network and secure jobs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite low and affordable for many people. The fee for the first and second year comes to around only 9,000 rupees. The fees has to be paid in the college itself and is an easy process overall.
Campus Life
This is a distance learning course so extracurricular are not part of the college activities. We can however attend different club meetings and participate in the same. There are some good clubs in the campus which eagerly accept members.
Admission
The admission process was mostly online, during the time I was seeking admission. The process itself is extremely easy. The admission is always guaranteed provided that you meet all the basic eligibility criteria.
Faculty
The faculty is in general very good.Some professors are particularly very very good and they are really good at teaching. Most of the professors are quite young and they are still very awesome. They are hired as per UGC guidelines so they are always well qualified.
