Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum of the College is regularly updated with various market conditions prevalent at that time, along with multiple case studies. The College has a pattern of not only engaging the students into theoretical but practical knowledge too. We were given presentations every week, and though it felt like a burden at times, it later proved to be beneficial. Other than this, there were multiple workshops and sessions where business tycoons were invited to share their experience. Since it used to be an interactive session, we got the opportunity to communicate with them and gain knowledge which textbooks can never provide.

Placement Experience

5

Since it is an MBA college, you don't have to worry about getting placed into a good company. When I sat for my placements, there were multiple companies invited to our College, and I applied for the company I had always wanted to work with; Amazon. The placement procedure followed by the College is pretty simple, we just had to make sure that our Curriculum Vitae was verified by the College, and we could sit for placements. Just like any other college, there was a placement wing in our College too,and it stills exists. They ensure that the process is conducted smoothly and the companies invited are globally renowned. Every year they invite prestigious companies such as Amazon, Genpact, CSS etc. which hire the students for management profiles.

Fee Structure And Facilities

One of the significant reasons to not pursue an MBA is the hefty fees charged by the colleges. Well, I would say that is not the case with AITM. They keep the fees nominal so that all the students have access to quality education and it is a go-to place for those who cannot afford to pay lakhs of rupees but do not want to compromise of quality of education at the same time. I remember when I applied for admission the fee charged by the College was nearly Rs 70,000 for the entire course and this is drastically lesser than the fees charged by other private institutes. To help those who cannot afford to pay the fees, the College has a financial aid scheme where they provide scholarship to those who are capable enough.

Campus Life

4.5

An MBA is not only about gaining higher education; it instead focuses on the holistic development of an individual which can only be done through extracurricular activities which were very well taken care of by the College. We had access to everything that would help us groom our personalities and gain skills. There were multiple clubs for those who were skilled writers, dancers, debaters etc. The College even promoted and encouraged the students to open a club of their choice to develop particular skills within the students. Apart from these activities, the College paid attention to sports too. There were both indoor and outdoor sports ranging from carom to archery. The management also ensured that the student diversity is maintained in the College, and others are not dominating a particular sect.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were probably the best part of my college life. They acted not only as friends but were always available to help us as guides too. It was because of them that college life became fun and exciting. Not only the seniors but the professors who taught we very humble and polite. The bonding with the seniors along with the career guidance by the professors helped me achieve my goals

Admission

I graduated from AITM in the year 2018, and back then, the admission criteria were very basic, and the procedure was not at all hectic. The College released a merit list that included the names of candidates eligible to apply. The merit list was a comprehensive one and included factors such as work experience, graduation score and most importantly the score in CAT. After checking the criteria I found that I was eligible and straightaway downloaded the application form. I filled it and went to the College, where I had to sit for an interview and got selected.

Faculty

5

If I were to describe the college faculty in a sentence, I would say, they are the best at what they do. The professors who taught us were highly qualified and had years of experience which we could experience through their teaching methodology. They made sure that we are not only learning what's written in the books, but they kept us updated about the news too. In my batch, some teachers used to conduct group discussions within the class only to make it interactive. Apart from this, they were highly approachable on a personal level too and always helped us, not only professionally but personally also. I would say that the faculty of AIM is one of the best you would come across.
