good place to learn and startup your carrier

Overall college culture was satisfactory. But sometimes management was very strict an not cooperating with students. College was not having proper medical facilities and management was not taking care of that even though reminded many times.

ORISSA JEE. I have selected bachelor of technology in computer science. I wanted to make my carrier in software field.

I have selected computer science and engg. Course curriculum was good and in the 4year btech course all the software and hardware related parts where covered.

Many companies came and recruited students. Mostly IT companies visited and core companies also visited. Since my college is in orissa so mostly core companies from orissa visited the campus stipend offered was average 15000.

In our batch almost 600 student where there in which approx 300 where placed in software companies. Companies visited are TCS, wipro, honeywell, sasken, and in core companies 150 students where placed.

Every year technical and cultural events where performed and students where given opportunity to present on different latest science inventions and technical ideas. technical product demos where conducted and robotics event was also part of technical culture.

Fee structure was bit expensive. but compared to current fee structure is was nominal. Now a days fee structure is expensive. some unnecessary charges where included.

No scholarship was provided and also no loan facility was there any extra technical skills if student want to learn. College was arranging that but cost was beard by students and college was not supporting that.

Campus life is good extracurricular activities where arranged like sports event and also technical seminar was conducted. Presentation on new technical invention was there. and robotics competition was also conducted each year.

Hostel facility was normal and not that much student friendly. Rooms where in shared basis and charges where more. room size was also small. power backup was not there. security and medical facilities was not up to mark. food quality was not good.

Senior alumni used to visit the campus and they use to network with student and by there corporate contacts they use to help in conducting technical seminars and help arranging companies to visit campus for job recruitment.

For initial two years of curriculum exam was conducted back to back. Even two exams in single day and there was not gap given. lab facilities where good and cool culture was there. All students was given time to experiment and present his ideas

Faculty standard was good all faculties where graduate and where mtech and having good teaching experience. They are cooperative and always help student whenever student have any doubt or need some suggestion for the subject.
