College life

Srm is a great college and a place to explore your life.May some of the students from north dont like weather and resident people but if talk about college it is a great college where you can enjoy your engineering life by making your carrer.

Course curriculum is not so bad not so good.There is total 8 semesters in your engineering which are all completed in 4 years,2 semester per year.In every sem we have 3 Internal exams,2 practicals and at last the university exam.The passing marks are 50.

If you join srm university then its a fact that you will get the job with a probability of more than 90% if you not got failed in any subject for the whole engineering.Even there are companies which came to our college only and only for those students who have arrears.So job is confirmed if you join srm. More than 200 companies arrive at yet srm per year which includes all the big4 companies and any of the dream companies like amazon, microsoft etc.

There are mainly two events celebrated one is a cultural fest named as MILAN and the second one is technical fest named as AARUSH.These both events are like a great and fun break for all the students where you can learn many things and enjoy as much as you can.Many of the big celebs,big comedians, singers, dancers came for these two shows to perform.Many big organisations donate for these two big srm events.

Ya fee structure is little bit expensive as its a private college.A middle class student can study here with some problem of money but its fine to study here because education is good and job is guarenteed.My fee per year is 2,15000 which only includes college fee.Other than that 100000 is the hostel fees which you can pay with your own choice if you want to stay in hostel.

Some of the banks offer loan for the college fee which are provided by the college itself.And the one who came in top 100 of the entrance exam will get the schloarship on the admission fee.Also the top 10 of every branch will get the respective scholarship.

There are so many clubs which you can join and work with the teachers and seniors to innovate new things.Even there are so many competitions held in college that allow there students to participate in various extra curricular activities.

Network with seniors is a liitle bit hard it only depends on on the student. Like there are approx 6000 students admitted per year in our college so its hard to get in touch even with our clssmates so if you want to have contacts with seniors than only a good alumni network can be established otherwise its not possible.

First of all i have filled a form which was on the srm site then i was alloted with a date and a venue for the exam.Before a week of exam i got my hall ticket.After 2 weeks of exam result was declared and everyone is called for the counselling.In counselling according to my rank in exam i was alloted with my selected branch.

All the faculties are great and knowledgeable.Many of them even teaches us many subjects which makes them knowledgeable in various fields.They all help every student in their problems.If you want to make some project other than your academics they even help in that also.And you can contact them anytime in a day they are always there to help their students.
