Most of the passed out students have got better placement and Campus Interview was conducted every year to recruit candidates in well known establishments. List of other schemes/activities implemented Community Development through Polytechnics, Industry Institute Partnership Cell, Visiting Faculty Scheme, Finishing School, D Skill Course for Disabled, Continuing Education Cell -source.
Course Curriculum Overview
Tool and die engineering covers production of plastics and die casting etc. The course also include one year implant training. The exam will be conducted in every six month as semester basis. The course has included 6 semester exams within 3 years.
Placement Experience
The students who successfully completed the course will provide one year implant training in companies situated in India, mostly at Pune, Bangaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore and Kochi. The Companies providing stipend between 5000-15000 range.
College Events
The college union inaguration ceremony has been celebrated in every year. Athletic meets,sports events, and youth festivals are also celebrated in every year. Onam celebration is so memorable programmes in everyone's mind. Prizes will announce for most beautiful 'Pookalam'.
Fees and Financial Aid
All backward communities can get educatonal grants from state Goverment. The backward communities includes Sheduled Cast/Sheduled Tribe, OEC and Other Backward Community(OBC). Educational loan will provide by all Nationalized banks.
Alumni/Alumna
A Global alumi meet was organized at KGPTC on 24 August 2019 to 25 August 2019.The association handed over a big compensation for flood relief activities of state Government. This association includes alumi of all branches from its orijin.
Admission
The admissions will be offered in government and private Polytechnic institutions in Kerala state. Every year, the admission procedure is conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Kerala. No entrance exam is conducted by the authority for admission. Candidates can get admission on the basis of marks secured in the 10th & 12th board exam.
Faculty
The best abled faculty members are working at KGPTC, Kozhikode.Most of them are committed in their works and which resulted a good out fit for the college. Faculty members are also active in extra curriculam activities.
