The course structure can be divided into 6 semesters 2 semesters per year which include theory and as well as practical. Exams are there for both theory and practicals. exams are conducted every six months. as the admission starts in July month for the first year exam will be conducted including both semester 1 and semester 2. Industrial visit and project are also included in the course curriculum. On completing 6 semesters she will be awarded the diploma of the selected specialisation. Afterwards campus recruitment drive will be conducted by top multinational companies and also there will be an apprenticeship drive interested to perform technician apprenticeship can participate in the drive basically it is conducted by the government of Kerala itself.

The placement cell of the college is working very well and most of the top-scoring students are placed on different multinational companies every year. Yes, I have resided in the college hostel and room are allotted on sharing basis of three Students. Entry is restricted to you around 30 students each year. Hostel rent was very low as 105 rupees in the year 2013. And mess fees were below 2000 rupees every month and is managed by the students themselves so that we ensure quality food.

College is having a very good alumni network and they are helping students to get proper placement. The alumni conduct get-togethers and also provides guidance to junior students

Admission to polytechnic courses of the state is purely based on the merit list, ie based on the marks secured in 10th grade. Usually, the government invites application for diploma courses in the month of May through a centralised allotment process. we can apply to any colleges throughout the state. We need to apply through the website of the department of technical education Kerala and need to submit the printout of the application form to any of the nearest polytechnic colleges.
