This is avery good college.It has always given the first priority to Knowledge.If you are someone who realy wants to learn along with enjoying other small things then this college is for you.

COMED K (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges Karnataka) is been seen as an emerging platform for students across the country to show-off their academic talent. Every year has seen an increase in the number of students appearing for COMED-K, and this year I was no different.I got myself into this Institution through COMED-K.I also participated in much highly reputed entrance examinations such as IIT JEE and BITSAT. My score in IIT JEE was good but still due to everyday increase in competition in this enormously developing country, i couldn't find myself a seat at the IIT's.But then came the results of COMED-K, and delighted I was with a rank under 25, 000 and having a plethora of options to choose from.This was the point where things became more difficult.Bangalore is known all over the country for the vast numbers of quality engineering institutions it has and no doubt it must be, it's the country's no. 1 IT city also dubbed as SILICON PLATEAU of INDIA.In the end with a deep research and advices, I made my choice and DON BOSCO was my choice.Many have not listened this name before, but surprisingly it is an Institution which is gonna be the star of tomorrow.The first and the last priority here is to produce quality Engineers and exceed at all the major fields of life.

Course curriculum is one of the very common and famous player in this college which is prescribed by VTU. VTU stands for VISVESHWARIYA TECHNICAL INSTITUTE. In Bangalore and around Karnataka many institutions are affiliated by VTU. VTU provides one of the best in class curriculum and it as established it's name very strongly as an top leader of education.The course curriculum is very basic and general.It starts from scratch and goes as deep down as it may get, aiming at exploring the depths of the subject in all possible directions.The basic starts from the very much that we have learnt in the early classes of our school days and then the same topic broadened enough for proper clarification of doubts.

The college has many technical and cultural events. Even many times the college becomes a stage for sponsors like YOU deos and many others to come in the college and make various competitions.The college has its own fest also which is particularly a cultural fest.Freshers Party is one of the famous to be celebrrated every year.

The fee structure is very feasible in this college.But if one is coming through management then he has to shed a lot of green leaves.Because generally it takes around 3 lakh for just the CS seat and with that 1 and half laks per year.

Scolarships are provided in which you can claim the fee you have paid for the semesters.There is also category based scholarships which the minorities can avail. Many scholarships are given on the basis of academic performance.Cash awards have also been given.

Campus life is one of the best here, because you get to meet people from all over the country and that really stands for the notion UNITY IN DIVERSITY. Making friends here is as easy as having a piece of cake.The college has a special tie-up with robotics company KUKA which provides internships and many other platforms to the students.Labs have the best of class equipments and workshops always look like the best platform to get the feel of an engineer, that is to start developing by using one's skill and knowledge.

Here sometimes 5 and majorly 3 people have to share a room.But dont get scared, because the rooms here are very big.The overall quality of the Hostel is good.It is always good and clean.There is also a Laundry service which provides both washing and drycleaning facilities at a very nominal cost of Rs 2/cloth. The hostel rental with all the food facilities costs RS 68, 000.

Senior students here are very friendly.They are always ready to guide you and clarify your doubts.They have a kind and humble attitude towards the freshers.

Exams here are very chilled out. Sometimes we have to write two exams per day and nothing more than that. Plenty of time is always given while preparing for the labs.

The faculty of the college is overall very good.We can not say for everyone, but the teachers are very hardworking and they never refuse to clearify doubts at any time possible.The college has lots of young teachers also, but one may never find that out with the persona with which they teach and the amount of knowledge they possess in their particular fields.Faculties here never leave any of their students behind and they always try to clear every doubt at every single step.
