Remarks

Management could be better. But we had fun during college.

Entrance Preview

I wrote COMEDK entrance exam. I scored 12000 rank(not sure exactly). This was the best college for me at the counselling for my rank. If i had scored better i could have got into a better institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was a VTU syllabus. It needs to be revised and should be more interactive. Lab sessions should be more. No point of studying al the theory when we dont know how to apply it practically. i got to choose my electives that i was interested in, and thankfully i am working in the same field.

Internships Opportunities

I don't think companies came to our college for offering internships. Although there were majority of IT companies during placements. Like, Infosys LTD, L&T infotech, IBM, HP, etc.

Placement Experience

For placements we have Infosys coming to campus, offering 3.25 Lakhs per annum.

College Events

College fest is organized in even semesters on a big scale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is regularized by CET and COMEDK organizations.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was according to the VTU curriculum.

Faculty

The faculty was good, i has a good scope of improvement. Lab equipment could be a little better too. Faculties could make the classes more interactive in theory sessions and get the students more interested and fascinated with the subject. Over all the syllabus should also be made easier by removing the redundant and outdated topics.

Placement is good, every student who tries to get placement will surely be placed in campus placements, but off campus would be difficult as this cllg is a tier-3 cllg, so many companies reject in resume shortlisting. Maximum every CSE student will get placed but max of them would get placed at an offer of 3.5 or 4.5lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore
