Entrance Preview

I wrote my CET after my puc,Ma ranking was moderate. Then when i shortlisted the colleges i wanted, one reason for choosing this college was the distance from my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose information science engineering as i was interested in coding .Faculties are friendly and make sure we give our best.They are supportive and encourage us to think out of the box.

Internships Opportunities

Good companies came,We had to try from outside. But placements were good.Many good companies came to our college, and we were given offcampus opportunities to many good companies, placement dept did a great job.

Placement Experience

Some 10 companies visited our college, we were given offcampus opportunity to other companies, pool campus is lot of pain, competing with thousands of ppl was hard, had to stay day and night just for a round.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, CET fease is fine but donation seat is expensive. CET students will b paying 75k on first year and from second year they will b paying 50k per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

No idea, i have no clue about this,I cannot answer this question since am not aware of it. May b they provide cos it is one among the good colleges in Bangalore.

Exam Structure

CET fee is fine,It would cost around 50 thousand per year. Comed-k fee structure was 1.25lakhs . So if v get a seat from cet Evam we can finish engineering in 2lakhs.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
