Entrance Preview

Taken admission through AIEEE. Had an awesome experience and infrastructure make it more rolling. Counselor was excellent in handling fresher students.Extra curricular make it more attracted by the students and talent comes on the floor.Fabulous height of audience.Overall experience is mind-blowing.

Course Curriculum Overview

Doing Engineering from DIMAT was an awesome experience.The courses was very correct to help the students in future .Extra attention on the practicals which makes the students more innovative.Helping faculties and directors in placements and training.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was great experience which gives 45 days for minor and major training. Placements and training session helps the students in cracking interviews and got placed. WIPRO, LAVA, GENPACT, EXELLON, MPHASIS, many more in every branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was the semester wise including transportation facility and having the scholarship for the topper students and extra facility to hostlers.This also include the sports fees and tuition fees. You can also submit the fees in installment if not available with you. Loan facility will also available for the students having need with specific documents.

Hostel Facilities

I will rate it 9 out of 10.Very helping guards and teachers and roommates.Mess is quite tasty some times not every times as we all know it about every mess.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Exams days was the hectic time for every students.Yes in exams time faculties helps us alot mostly in practicals.

Life at GEC Raipur

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

My College Review- insight from NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the placement starts. Till now around 30-40 snrs have placed. All the good snrs I know and have already been placed. Companies like- Caterpillar, Schneider Electric, JSL, JSPL, JWL, netarwala, Amazon, Dassault System, Reliance, phonepe, Deloitte, come to our college.

Yeah ,the course in terms of comprehensiveness is really satisfactory. I have some issues with sequence of subjects which are covered ,but there is no compromise with the comprehensiveness. So I would rate good that too .

NIT Raipur Review: Where knowledge meets real world engineering.

Placement Experience:

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl,bhel,bhel,reliance,catterpillar,eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

This course I think has a very bright future as the cheap making industry is everywhere and in futue AI will require physical component which will be full filled by this department so this will be fulfeeling the real word application however the course maybe more practical.
