Remarks

The college is good. Nice environment, friendly staff. Placement is not bad. The environment of college is good. The placement is a huge scam. Only 2 to 3 core companies for other departments came to college. But for the mechanical engineering department, no core companies with actual jobs didn't come. There were companies that took us for contract labor for 2 years. With low wages and didn't learn anything in that area.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this mechanical bcoz I liked the automobile and stuff, the faculty-student ratio is good. The staffs are very kind and helpful in our department. All the facilities are Ph.D. The exams are strict and they would train to face the exam

Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are the worst at the college. No company came to the college. There were only contract jobs for 2 years. We should work there as laymen. With a bachelor's degree, the highest package was 11400/months. Lowest was 400/month, All are welcomed to jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is strange. There is a hike in the price yearly. Like 10000 or something and also for management seats it's at exponential rate tho there are many scholarships. I got an internship in a core company

Campus Life

The drestine is the fest organised by students but the management thinks its just a poor thing. They invest a small amount and very grateful for it. There is no encouragement from the management but they keep on say. It should be great. The library is great. Sports is also same as the fest

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
