Biomedical Engineering at Shobhit University

Shobhit University one of the leading organisation in the domain of Biomedical Engineering with high-quality lab facility. It has a vibrant and beautiful campus. I have visited the campus and the laboratories, labs are well equipped. In this region, only Shobhit University has Biomedical Engineering course. It's NAAC accredited, ISO certified and has Its own IQAC Department for continuous monitoring and the improvement of quality that I have not found anywhere else. For more details, the department asked me to visit Shobhit Biomedical Society that shows continuous dynamic and social activities of the Department as well as a strong alumni network too.

The course curriculum is designed to cater to the need of Biomedical Engineering and to provide them high-quality education so the student can serve the society with their skills and can work for the betterment of the healthcare sector. Department has mentored over 10 Students to whom students can share their problems. It's like a local guardian, extremely careful and flexible environment. Highly qualified faculty members from national and international repute organisation. These facilities have excelled in their specialised field.

Alumni of Biomedical Engineering are working in renowned originations in a different position. The key organizations are Philips, Mindray, Stryker, Johnsons and Johnsons, BPL, BOSTON, Nipro, Etc. They are also recruited in super speciality hospitals such as Max, fortis, metro hospital etc.

As for me being a female candidate University offers me the scholarship. Over that, there are certain scholarships based on your merit. My merit was not high still I got scholarship specifically for female candidates. UTDC department shows the past training and placement record of the University it was excellent. In Biomedical because of high demand 100% placement after the internship.

Sangeetam is the annual fest organised by the University in November, as well as sports, meet in February. There are different clubs, music room and indoor/outdoor playing activities available in the campus. Moreover, the department organises Free health check-up camp every year. It's like a second home, students will never feel they are outside the campus.

University has its own entrance test SUNET, this time because of lockdown no entrance was conducted it's direct admission process. However, there would be a telephonic conversation with the department heads with simple and basic queries. This was a very interactive and confidence-building session.
