My College Review

One setback as per me about my college is that it doesn't update its faculties and lab setups according to modern trends. Curriculum too needs to be updated. College managements are more Trust centric than students.

I have completed my BE in mechanical branch here. It's a four year programm and each year is of 2 semesters. And internal assessment is also there. It was a more or less theory driven curriculum and 20 % for practicals.Of course Mechanical engineering is industry oriented course and you will get hands on experience in Production engineering and CNC oerations. And placement is something depend upon your performce throughout the duration of the course. After getting into third sem, Industrial visit twice a sem was necessary and it was organised and the report of your industrial visits you have to summit to your respective department.

Some of the companies visited during my course Were Bajaj Motors, Mahindra Tractors, Kirlosker, Amazon, Icer, Hero Motocorp.Selection process in these companies involved Apptitude Then subject matter test And technical rounds and then hr round tofinalise your selection. Some of them also have some back logue criteria and some percentage criteria. Institute in general didn't take any special steps to prepare the students for placements but you may contact your HOD's to seek some support to groom yourself.

Fresher's Farewells Science day Celebration and Engineer days celebration are to name a few celebration in our college. Some tests are inta college and some are inter-college. Holi celebration is one of the celebration of our college we enjoyed a lot. Science fest took place a large scale because we have a lot of participants from across the university.

My course fee for four years duration was 240000RS. 60000 per year or 30 thousands per sem. Mode payment was either in case or You can submit DD. In addition to this You have to pay for your sem exams and for securing your admission in the college you have to pay some 20000 odd ruppess.

No I have not opted for any college loan. but you can opt for education loan college does support in that.

Campus life is full of energy excitement and exuberance. Overall gender ration is the college is pretty much ok. You can say 40 and 60 girls and boys respectively.College respects the diversity and ethnicity. There is no such descrimination on the basis of race, religion or sex orientations or economical status for that matter. College maintain the code of conduct. Religion race or sex aren't the criteria to avail any of the facilities available in the college premises and college doesn't endorse any such descriminations. If we talk about extra curricular activities, It involves quiz competition, Science fest workshop and workshops on robotics, Intellectual property rights to name a few. we have football grounds cricket grounds basket ball courts and tennis courts. Indoor kabaddi game Table tennis carrom chess and snooker in spots. Workshops are bretry much of a very basic level and serves for beginners.

No I have not opted for hostel as I have my home in the same city. But one can opt for college hostels but seats are very limited.Rooms are available on both basis single or sharing. For single room Hostel fee was 73000 and for sharing basis it 60000 per year. hostel has pretty much everything covered WiFi coolers and 24/7 Water supply and wardens to take care of you.Food is decent.

College a maintain a good records of its alumnis. And if course it helps the Juniors. Seniors di suggests some industry relevant skills and helping in getting placed too.

After appearing at the JEE mains examination and applied in mppet portal. Then a college was alocated for me. Then I got a call from college to meet in person to confirm my seat and Enroll myself in. And that is how I got admission in my college. College do give some follow ups too.

Not sure about the number of faculties in my college but mechanical department had 18 faculties. Average age would be 40. Many of them had a industrial work experience. For example some of them were having quality assurance, Lean, Six sigma, PAP, PPAP, FMA, FMDEA, SPC, 7 QC Tools as a part of their expertise.
