Remarks

If you are ready for tough life and be the best in your life then you should join the college. This college will take all your energy by throughing a lot of challenges.Don't worry regarding the placement as you will get your initial start in some company after college. Will recommend this college to people to the smart and intelligent people.

Entrance Preview

I got a rank of 14K in All India Engineering Entrance Examination and wanted to take Mechanical Branch of Engineering. I got a choice of Mechanical in BVCOE and thus opted for it. Got a good feedback from people regarding mechanical branch of the college. There was no interview and only a counselling secession after that.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course was good and draining. Curriculum was bit outdated but that did not matter much. The college was very difficult for scoring marks and mechanical was considered the toughest. It was a real challenge to score even 60% in college.

Internships Opportunities

College internship was optional. It was upto the student to find the internship if he wanted any. So stipend was usually not available. I did not do any internship

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement were quite good and around 80 percent for the college. Multiple placement was not available. Half of the students were taken by the IT companies like TCS. Infy. Cogni, Wipro and Accenture. After the IT, then core companies like L&T, JSW, ESSAR, Punj Loyid, used to come.Even some electronics companies like Heuvein etc used to come for placement and in the end ICICI bank used to come and take a bunch of 30-40 students. Overall the placements were good in College.

College Events

4

College events used to happen once in year. Technical fest of college used to be huge involving many events and good funding from the Corporates. Events used to comprise of gaming, robotics, debates, sports, music etc. used to be open to all and had a good participation of students

Fee Structure And Facilities

Free in 2004-2008 batch was 48000 Rs which was considered average wrt any private college. Recent fee structure is not known By me. People have to visit college website for checking the same.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not sure regarding any loan or scholarship. Has to be confirmed from the college website regarding the same

Campus Life

4

Labs in mechanical were good. There was good facility of playing football as we had a huge and well maintained ground. Extracurricular activities were dependent upon the students choice and college always used to support any new and good initiative.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel availability for male students was only for the first year with a very nominal fee. Ladies had the option of availing the hostel throughout the college. Food was pathetic in college hostels. Most of the people used to opt for private hostels or rented accommodations which were abundantly available near the college with so many different restaurants.

Alumni/Alumna

All the students who have passed from the college ad are known to me and in good companies at nice posts. This college used to through a lot of challenges to students and made the man out of boys. This used to help students a lot after joining the companies as we used to be the best in managing the life's and thus used to stand out in our work.

Exam Structure

During that time the exams used to happen once in semester with the pre examination leave of 15 days. Now I have heard that is being replaced with the addition of secessionals.

Faculty

2

Faculty was average with very few good teachers and most were pathetic. But that did not matter much as most students used to study on their own and were least dependent on facility.

After 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements depending upon their capabilities, staff recomendation, CGPA, and various other factors. Not everyone is provided with placements because 80% of the students prefer studying for masters. Companies like TCS, cipla, abott, and many more pharma companies visit here with average package of 4 lakh per annnum.
