Remarks

We don't have our own campus that is the major drawback of our college. Now we are living in nit. Nit is too good. But if we go out from nit we don't have any other option than to find some polytechnic colleges or private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is similar to nit Trichy but our staff is not even comparable to them. Basic knowledge is provided by our lessons but with proper staff like a nit, we could achieve great knowledge. And campus placements are not that good. Only one batch has graduated and the second batch dint get good placement offers.

Placement Experience

Placements are not that good as of now. 1st batch has got good offers compared to 2nd batch hope our batch gets good enough placements.

1. Prothymos sports event every year. 2. Aahlad cultural every year. Away from campus events. 1. Inter iiit sports at other iiit campuses. 2. Inter iiit cultural events 3. Inter iiit technical events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very expensive fee structure. We are paying more than nit Trichy but not provided good food or hostel or staff at least. Fee payment mode is online through link or NEFT for those who availed for a loan. During admission, the admission fee is a must. And for the 1st year, some extra fees are there for some issues.

No scholarships are provided by the college. But some national scholarships are accepted as the national scholarship portal.

Campus Life

We are using nit labs as of now they are good but our faculty is not that good for the provided labs. And girl strength is very very less in our college may he 1: 20. Workshops are not conducted in our college but we can attend nit workshops if interested.

Alumni/Alumna

Our 1st graduated batch is really the best batch for our college in all aspects ( studies placements, cultural, sports).they are too friendly and always ready to help in any issues.

Admission

I opt for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose this institution because it is located inside nit Trichy campus. For admission, we need to pass the entrance test with cut-off marks and based on our cut off we can choose college and course(each course has a different cut-off rank in a different college). After that, we need to go to a nearby nit or iiit or IIT for certificate verification. After our seat is confirmed we need to report to the allotted college.

We can talk to our staff through mail or google classroom. There are over 20 staff members in our college. The Teaching staff has google classroom ids so we any subject-related content we can discuss them there. Or else we can enquire through email. Each club has a separate faculty and we can interact with them if we have any queries or suggestions.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . The NIMCET exam is conducted in June and form filling date is tilll April of every year. Form fees for NIMCET is 2,500 for general and OBC. The syllabus for NIMCET is similar to JEE . NIT Trichy is the best choice

This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
