Remarks

I got the precious learnings from my college where I explored my skills and experienced a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The structure of the course curriculum and exam structure was very systematic and simple. There were 8 semesters in 4 years and each year,2 semesters were held. For each semester we have 60-70 lecture classes, then exams were held in the month of June and December.

Placement Experience

3

The list of companies which visited our college is- 1. D- tab solutions 2. Scope telecom pvt.ltd. 3. Paytm 4. Infosys india pvt.ltd. Etc. The process of recruitment in these companies was documented and resume submission and interview. Few of them had taken group discussion test also. There were approximately 30% of students placed every year from our campus. Our campus gave placement-oriented training classes too.

College Events

4

The annual programs in my college were held mainly. The annual program went up to 4 days. The annual program was mainly focused on cultural activities. We also celebrated engineer's day held on 15 September. Our college students and faculty members who participated in the program enjoyed the program.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In the year 2012, there was not a system in my college to accept the payment by UPI or google lay payment but online transaction was held by Debit card. There were additional fee charges to secure admission to my course. My college did not provide any transparency in fee-breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I didn't opt for an education loan. My college offered a scholarship opportunity and I filled the form for a scholarship but I did not get any scholarship because my form was rejected. The average sum for the scholarship was 6500.

Campus Life

4.5

My campus life was memorable. The gender ratio in my college was 15:40. Our labs were very nice and were held timely. Our college used to organize sports competitions and debates too. The sports were in a disciplined manner and we got marks for extracurricular.

Hostel Facilities

3

I did not opt hostel because of my financial problem but I preferred a separate room on rent sharing with one of my classmate in the city and used to cook ourself. The average rent of my room was 2000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

I feel lucky to have good alumni and senior students. They used to come into our classrooms when no teacher is there and given useful tips to us.

Admission

To explore the technological approach of science. I had taken admission in this college because this college had a good reputation in my area and also this college was near to my hometown. To take the admission I had to go through 3 stages- that is counseling documents verification and admission.

Faculty

4

There were 10 lecturers in each semester because we have 5 or 6 subjects and practicals in each semester. Their average age was 28 and most of them were post-graduate or doctor of the philosophy degree holders. They all were of very good knowledge in their streams and well clarity in their stream and will students. As per our university scheme each Lecturer had relevant industry experience.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
