Remarks

Overall it’s a good college but the only thing is it is a bit conservative towards millennial things.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

BBA course is of 6 semesters in total and each of had about 6 subjects. Quite relevant to the business world and emphasises on an overall development. We have subjects like entrepreneurship development and personality development too. We also get opportunities for summer internships. Industrial visits are provided often

College Events

3.5

Troika, astitva and cultural festivals are there. Probably the best thing about our college is the way our festivals are celebrated. We have to plan and make sure that the fests happen to the best level possible. All in all it’s the best time of the year

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is good and feasible especially looking at the quality provided for the same. Other good colleges take much more money for a similar experience. No there’s nothing like transparency in fee breakdown but we do get receipts everytime And we have a good time at college. The thing is we need to pay the fees the same day when our admission is confirmed.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is 3:2 student parties aren’t that popular as the college is conservative a little. We have one of the best cultural team that looks after drama, music and dance activities. We get to participate in competitions a lot. And there’s something for everyone.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and I’ve made some of my best memories with seniors. They helped me in my studying, sports and even for our college festivals

Admission

The college is well reputed and therefore a lot of people recommended it and we had to fill up a form and pay the fee for entrance exam on their website of ?500 then we were given a date for examination. The exam was a mcq type exam of 50 questions of 2 marks each

Faculty

4.5

We have 4 lectures everyday. And the faculty is very friendly and helpful for anything and everything. They are very qualified and they give us relatable examples to make us understand the topic better. We also have guest lectures almost every week.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements do come to for Somaiya colleges but they are not so good as the amount we are paying for the fees and the category that this college comes under they should provide at least average placements of 6 to 7 lakhs bare minimum but they do not provide that much higher placements even after paying so much fees and even after considering themselves that a very high level high profile college and university that is your relax today I appeared for an placement interview which was very unprofessional it was a campus placement it was very and professional and that will not even speaking in English it was for a cell strainy but it was not expected from the college side that they are conducting this kinds of placements

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for the campus placements, many big companies visit such as Google, KPMG, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, JP Morgan, etc. The highest package is at a whopping 30 lakh and the average salary stays around 12 lakh. Most of the students get placed, my plans after getting the degree is to pursue MBA.

Placement Experience:

In the Third Year, students become eligible for campus placements. The minimum percentage of students getting placements is 60%. Practical knowledge is equally important with theoretical knowledge as we are in the service industry so we must know well about the industry.

Remarks:

THe college in all is very good. There is nothing the college quite needs to excel at. I would personally like it if the college works a bit more on their placement activities and conducts them in accordance to the students. There an be a few infrastructural improvements too but those are in consistent progressions. I am glad I am a part of the UBS network and will definitely pass out as a happy alumni with flying colours.
