Course Curriculum Overview

3

I think the labs are of pretty good quality and nicely maintained but the course Electronic and Communication is not really that good in my college. The exams and labs are pretty hectic. Assignment and projects are a lot in number. Teachers are not good in teaching. They take answers from blogs on the internet and tell it to the students.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in my college is pretty decent. Not very good but not very bad. It is of a moderate quality. Internship are almost Nil. Only one or two that too they give only for a few students. Job opportunities is decent if you have a good CGPA. And stipend is also very less only. Low number of internship and low amount of stipend.

College Events

1

They have the department events like symposium and culturals within the department. Also they conduct intercollege and intracollege culturals in some clubs alone. But together there is no much importance given tov cultural programs and also there is so much partiality in the winning process for the intra college events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible - 1lakhs INR per semester. It's not a very huge amount when you compare to other deemed university in the state. So it's pretty decent. but they also give scholarships to students with a good CGPA in twelfth grade. So that's pretty cheap for the students. They don't charge any other internal fees or charges to the students. Though they charge a seperate exam fees per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is both scholarship for students with a good CGPA in twelfth grade and there is also an option to take loans and study for students with a bad grade. They are allowed to pay there fees in small installments and there is a bank inside the college which helps in taking loans for the students.

Campus Life

4

The sports events and culturals are not paid a lot of attention to. So mostly the students go and participate in the events at their own cost. The college doesn't provide any facilities to the students to participate in other colleges events or sports of any sort. In turn they don't give attendance to the student and make them sit in class extra hrs. Atleast that's what my department does.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no notable alumini from my college. So they are of no use. The senior students are sometimes friendly sometimes just absolutely useless. It depends on who they are. There is nothing to write for 200 words about the alumini of my college.

Admission

I got admission in this college through their own particular entrance exam. After I got selected they called me and comfimed if I wanted the admission. And after I said yes, they sent me a admission letter officially. And then asked me to come to the college and pay the first semester fees and finish the document verification process. After that was done, they gave me a temporary id card and asked to come to the college on the opening day.

Faculty

2

They are not very qualified and even if they are they are not very good in the teaching factor. They don't know the answers to most of the question and they just try to say something and block the students from asking any further questions on the topic. they pretend as if they know the answer but mostly they don't.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
