Entrance Preview

NAT entrance is the entrance exam for this college admission. Mechatronics is provided by very less colleges in India and my college is one among that. It is affiliated to Staffordshire University, UK.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is purely based on latest technology along with building a sharp base in each core fields. We get maximum time for doing practical research of the theories we have learned.

Internships Opportunities

College is not providing internships. Rather individual projects are to be submitted in the final year. Industrial visits provided are really mentionable. Students get opportunities to visit all the nearby factories.

Placement Experience

Core field companies are less in numbers. IT sector companies comes to our college on a regular basis. Companies like Wipro, HCL, ABS electroplaters, L&T and many other companies visit this college.

College Events

Best celebrated events are Reeboot and dextrix which are celebrated in odd even semesters. Holy, Onam, Ramzan, Christmas etc are celebrated religious celebrations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is a bit expensive. Semester fees is about 45000 INR. Exam fees is about 7200 INR in additional.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facilities are available for all merit listed students. Different nationalised banks provide loan facilities in addition to private banks.

Exam Structure

Number of exams are less as compared to Indian colleges. Assignments are more in numbers. 2 days gap are provided between each exams.

Faculties are really helpful in their field. They are filled with knowledge. Consultation hours are provided for meeting each faculties with our doubts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

Profitable for new student for choosing their dream college

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students applicable for placement. Highest placement of second last year is 52 lakh per annum and average 16 lakh. In case no campus placement I have family support in some companies. Approximately 70 percentage students placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Special aspects is it has coding and it is related to technology. It prepares us very good for industries and further academic pursuits. Suggested area of improvement is in c++ coding class they teach us only theory not coding. Exams happens in every 2 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exam are not so big problem. In one semester there are 2 sessional exams and one end semester exams are taken at the end of the semester. And papers made are not so difficult.

About NIFTEM from my eyes

Placement Experience:

Placements rate is obviously not 100% but we do get companies and out of 150 students only 110 actually sit in the placement cycle and out of these about 70 students do get placed in good companies. The companies that visit consist of mondelez, Adani wilmar, zomato hyper pure, haldiram, loykaa, jubilent, baker's dozen, Lt foods,etc. The highest package goes up to 15 lakhs and average package is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

It's nice and college is good

Placement Experience:

The placement here is good. Mostly companies arrive in our college to induct students. At the last skill matters. Last year Microsoft came and gave 60 lakh. Student of civil. So in the end we have to learn to code.

My Journey at NIFTEM

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are done in the final year. In the 7th semester, students have to go for a semester-long industrial training. Some students are offered pre-placement offers, and some sit for the placement process. The highest packages have gone upto 8 LPA-10 LPA, in quality/supply chain/management related roles. More than 10-15 companies visit, and almost all of the students get placed. I personally would like to go for higher studies.

College inside life

I chose this College as it is near my home and it's financially in my budget and the degree i will get from a known university which is good for my career . I also have applied to Chandigarh University but due to the hassle of shifting and financial burden i didn't joined there . I didn't get rejection from any of the college's that i have applied to . Nothing went wrong it's just the financial matter. The admission process of my college is based on the percentage criteria that you have got in PCM subjects in 12 th and 12th should be from science background. There is no such exam for selection , you can get admission based on the percentage it should be 60 % . The admission intake experience is very smooth and hassle free , If you have 60% marks you get the admission on that day if seat available. There are 60 seats available for each branch ....Read More
