Remarks

Only in the case of fees and mess it is far better than any other colleges. But all other cases like campus interview lab facilities are very poor finally it is a below average college.

I took admission in management quota course fees is comparatively less if we passed in karnata entrance we got direct admission.

In civil branch everything is related to construction and construction materials all other branches having the subjects related to that. Two elective subjects in first year and third year.

The companies coming to the college is comparatively very less and the stipend also very less internship experience is very poor as compared to all other colleges.

Course fees is about 60000 per year now it is more than 1 lakh hostel fees is around 20000 per year mess fees is about 2500 per month the university fees is about 2500 per year.

Loan facility is provide through all nationalized banks if the marks in higher secondary is more than 90 % the course fee is absolutely free.

The college is having a very big ground the sports events are carried out in every year and zonal football matches and cricket matches also conducting by the college.

Campus life is very borring there is no campus in the college. College is situated in the top of a small hill it is 2 km from bhatkal town college and hostels are at a distance of 200 mtrs.

The university is visweswariah technological university the exams are in very strict mode labs are in poor condition the lab exams are also in strictly followed.

Faculty

Better faculty for civil and mechanical branche all other branches having less faculty. Faculties of computer science and information science are very less in the college.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Life with Untapped Potential

Admission is quite simple. All I had to do was appear for the CET exam and await my results. I could have applied through the management quota. When I discussed this with the then General Secretary, he suggested I go through counselling. My rank was enough to get me through. I recall there were seats reserved for SC/ST, OBC, etc. In fact, even in the library, there were shelves reserved only for them. They were locked all the year unless a student from the reserved quota needed any textbooks which were locked on those shelves. Books on those shelves were not accessible to the general population. The campus is very humungous. Football ground and basketball court for students. Large buildings for dorms and food were its best part. Infrastructure has improved over the years. Students have access to WiFi, usage of which is monitored by administrators. Campus placement isn't its strongest suit. But placement officer keeps ensures his network passes the information of any ongoing campus recruitments to him....Read More
