Remarks

Anyone can get admission in our college easily but he or she has to pass the 12th class in Science stream. That's a very good thing about our college, they offer everyone a chance to learn. The college is mostly filled by students living in agra and mathura region and some students are there for fights not for study, because of that daliy or weekly fights happened in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The course curriculum is too outdated. They still teach 10 years old course for IT industry where every month new technologies come and many goes outdated. Many of the subjects in. The course are irrelevant and of no use. They follow the UPTU syllabus which really needs to be updated.

Placement Experience

1

Our college till I pass out didn't provide any internship, even the placement cell is also unable to call good IT companies for the college, most o f the companies visiting the campus are BPO or for Sales and support profile. Even students have to visit noida and mathura Colleges for placement for pool campus because our college is unable to visit their campus. There are like 1-2 companies visit for civil and mechanical branches.

College Events

1

There is only one techno cultural fest celebrated in our college i.e. Gyan Jyoti where all the events are fixed, already the winners are decided before the event. Celebrity night is very awful because of the arrangements. The budget of the fest is very less. They show in paper 8 lacs but actually they provide funds of less than half the amount.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is expensive, they took fees like any other private college of noida but they didn't provide any facilities like them. They didn't even provide wifi or internet to students for their studies, even for CS/IT students.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't took any loan for the college. Yaa there is some scholarship is provided by the UP government for poor students whose father annual income is less than 5 lacs. The scholarship amount is also based on caste, if you are general category then it is 55000 approx.

Campus Life

1.5

There are labs for each branch but they are used as a formality, no one really do a thing there, the lab assistant is also doesn't give a damm about it. He /she just do their work as formality. Thats all I can say about labs.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No I haven't opted the hostel but I visited many times, the food ofcourse is too bad. There are no extra curricular facilities in hostel, there is one TT Table without raquets for whole boys hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni network or if it is then I am not aware of it. As I am a alumni now I haven't been added to any group. As I was student I didn't get any help from my alumni as well. So I didn't think there is such network.

Admission

I got the admission in college through direct management quota, where I didn't need to pay any extra amount or donation. I want the computer science branch but I took admission in June month so the seats of that branch were full, that's why I took Information Technology.

Faculty

1.5

Most of the faculty in CS/IT Department doesn't know how to make even a website. They are teaching the subjects from last 10 years and now they have just crammed it. They don't know nothing outside of the 5 units in the syllabus. They don't even motivate students to learn new things and technologies, they just want students more than 75% attendance in class.

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.
