The Atmosphere and Studies

Positive:- The college is very feasible and well developed. The fees structure is quite affordable and even the college is autonomous and well recognized Negative:- As its a government college still a lot facilities have to be bought up necessarily

Course curriculum is decided by the HODs and principal itself as its autonomous college now. The time table is quite suitable as every graduation student (B.Tech) gets atleast one day off in week except sunday and the labs are well maintained and they are frequent but not that hectic. Exams are held as per the curriculum decided by the college, in BTech we have 8 semesters in 4 years.

There is a varied placement and job opportunities, as am from first year I dont know exactly about the amount of stipends. But still many companies like Amazon, Analog devices, accenture, Tcs comes every year to hire students.

We have varied clubs and their personal events and functions. We have one main technical management and literary fest known as PERCEPTION and one cultural fest known as XTASY. Apart from all that the college also organises individual branch fests and events like march past, hackathons, sports, marathons, etc.

The fee structure is very feasible as its a government funded college the fees is very low compared to any other engineering college and even the hostel fees per year is too low, its easily affordable by every student.

The college offers scholarship to top 10 students of the class according to their cgpa of previous year. Apart from that students can also avail any other government( central or state) special scholarship without any difficulties

The gender ratio is pretty good, there are all essential workshops and labs present according to our courses, starting from mechanical workshop to computer labs and language labs too. We also have very big field with separate basketball court and volleyball court. A badminton court is also there. The college has many technical and non technical clubs that deals with robotics web dev software and e cell music dance respectively

The Hostel are quite well maintained. There are two hostels each for boys and girls respectively and that also within the campus. The distance of hostel from main building to hostel is few meteres only. Hostel rooms are generally shared between two to three guys and in final year of courses they get single rooms too.

Aluminis keep visiting the college regularly and they organise talk show to inspire the current students. They are really helpul in the welfare of the college and the students too. The rapport of aluminis and college is very good.

For admission in CET-Bhubaneswar, you haveto appear all India Joint Entrance Exam, (JEE)- Main, and then according to your respective all India rank, the state government of Odisha releases a list of colleges that you can apply and their respective elegibilty. As this is a state government college the process of admission is fully fair, and the person with higher rank will get the seat faster.

The faculty of our college are very well qualified and knowledgeable. They put a lot of effort in teaching the students. And every department has their own HODs and therefore, the level of teaching is quite high.
