Remarks

The only positive thing about this South East Asian College of Arts, Commerce and Science is that you will not feel like a stranger here. Everyone is very supportive and they won't let you feel nervous also. The negative thing is they don't allow you to go and have food during lunch hrs and moreover they take 2 hrs of Tuition Classes which I personally think is a totally waste of time. The Principal here is also rude.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

You will get almost all the courses offered to a PUC student. Teachers are very supportive. You can have a very good idea of it once you will visit the college. Even there is no cut off also. You can apply here without any doubt if you want to get in this college.

Placement Experience

3.5

There are not many placement opportunities in this college. There is no internship provided by the college. One remarkable thing is our college South East Asian College of Arts, Commerce and Science got some place from TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES few days back.

College Events

5

There are not many events celebrated in our college. But there are few events which I will list down below. So, they celebrate Annual Sports Day, Founders day, Independence Day, Republic Day and finally the Graduation Day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is not much expensive if you compare with other colleges. South East Asian College of Arts, Commerce and Science brings you all the courses for Commerce at 50k p.a. Science at 60k p.a. and Arts at 40k p.a.

Fees and Financial Aid

South East Asian College of Arts, Commerce and Science doesn't provide any loan kind of facility to the students. There are no known loans issued to any student in my acknowledgement. They do provide Scholarships.

Campus Life

4

South East Asian College of Arts, Commerce and Science is managed by the daughter of a MLA. So this way college is closely associated with politics and the economic condition of the college is also satisfactory. They do have computer laboratory, Biology laboratory, chemistry laboratory and physics laboratory. Sports are organised in the month of July and August to compete with similar colleges.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

South East Asian College of Arts, Commerce and Science hostels aren't actually bad. The main problem with them is that there is no pest control organised in the hostel. You may have to deal with bed bugs, mosquitoes and many more.

Alumni/Alumna

If I would be true there are no interactions with South East Asian College of Arts, Commerce and Science Alumni. I have not meet anyone of them personally. So I can't tell about them. They may be very optimistic and far-sighted. But if you haven't meet personally then it is not correct to tell them anything.

Admission

I got admission through ACPC based on marks of 12th and gujcet wrt which merit list is prepared and based on rank admission is alloted and alternate is jee marks and 12th std marks similarly merit list is prepared.

Faculty

5

Faculties are very supportive. They will be right back to you in case if you need any type of help from them. You will get almost all the courses offered to a PUC student. Teachers are very supportive. You can have a very good idea of it once you will visit the college. Even there is no cut off also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
