Know about my college

Mostly negative due to such large amount of students studying here but when it boils down to how we got here it's no so bad as some dream companies do come here, most of the students bagged the seats because of parents money.

Some labs are the most unproductive part of college, others not so much. Mostly students sleep there other students copy each others assignment. Some of them are determined though, it is hectic for me.

Placements are good for my department almost everyone gets placed. As of other departments bleak chances for getting placed in core companies. Some students opt for off campus placement which is a good option as mass recruiters mostly takes anyone with no knowledge at all in IT sectors.

Our college hosts two fests that are not so grand because of all the corruption, the seniors (college faculty) gulp most of the money. They are not worth attending, I'd rather sleep. The results are biased so no point at attending such a lame fest.

It is expensive, but this is the case of most of the good private colleges in India. It includes 2 semester fees & as of first year they also charge you for the extracurricular activities that never happen atleast they are not worth the 10000 bucks we pay for.

Yes, loan is mostly sanctioned by banks but our college does have tie up with Yes Bank. Loan is sanctioned as per your marks scored in 12th & JEE MAINS, also, you have to pay the college fee for the first year & based on your performance they decide which criteria you qualify for.

Gender ratio is 3:1 not that it matters, Parties are full with drugs & alcohol, almost everyone here is racist. Some are very rich but mostly middle class family. The curriculum for engineering is outdated we study outdated course with almost no practical knowledge that will be useful in future after placements.

Yes, I've been there for a year, it feels like jail on top of that, they turn a blind eye for drugs inside hostel after a month or so, plus the hostel fee is too much for sharing that tiny room with 2 other roommates.

Nope, no interaction with seniors at all due to harsh anti ragging policies. You have to make the struggle your own when it comes to developing personal skills which will be useful later on. Some friends can help you though.

I took the entrance test for my college, went for counselling & book the CSE seat for myself & that was it. Later on, when I decided this was the college I want to take admission in, I submitted the full fee & that's it.

Most of the faulty has no idea what they are teaching, the south faculty is mostly good that starts teaching from the 2nd year. Students don't wanna study teachers don't wanna teach. Some teachers are racist towards gender, others on where the student belongs from.
