Decent college for graduation

Our college has got affiliation from Dibrugarh University for all the courses that it offers. In terms of syllabus and course curriculum it follows the guidelines of the university and thus strictly adhere by the laid framework. The course has various domains and sub-disciplines which are separated or distributed into various semesters where by examinations are conducted part wise every 6 month. Internal exams and evaluations are also conducted time to time.

Don't come with much expectations in terms of placements and job as this is something where the college is below par. You can get good education from the college but when it comes to placement and job opportunities you have to dwell yourself. Internship is not an integral part of the course curriculum however if one wants to do it then one has to manage on its own.

In terms of fees I can say our college is not expensive or financially burdensome for a student. The fee for the entire course duration is just around Rs 23, 000.Let me clear that this fees is required to be submitted all at ones but the amount is separated in form of annual academic fee that has to be paid at the start of each year.

Scholarship opportunities are available from the side of University two students who have perform well in the academics and have satisfied all the other eligibility criteria. Apart from that state government also offers scholarship to students who are original resident of the state of Assam. Educational loans can be opt for in case one is not able to get the scholarships or needs a financial assistance.

Our college has a nice ground with lush green trees in front of it, this provides for ample room for extra-curricular activities including sports, drama, music, cultural activities etc. Events are celebrated like Bihu festival, the tribal festivals, Republic Day etc. Classrooms are well built and equipped with all the necessities apart from that the library is also sound and nice and the seminar hall has a good sitting capacity. Overall the infrastructure is sound.

Process of admission in my college simple and there is nothing like entrance test or interview to make things competitive. Rather one has to to submit the detailed application form after obtaining it from the college's reception counter. After submission of the application the candidate is called for document verification and fee submission after which the admission is confirmed. The reason I opted for this college was that this was the only decent institute in the district of my residence.

As far as teaching methodology and student interactions including doubt clearing is concerned the professors in our college are ok. They have adopted an approach where by they keep things simple to understand for students to grasp it easily. One thing I like about them is that they don't hesitate to help even after the class timings.
