Course Curriculum Overview
This course is of 3 years in duration. The theoretical education is of 2 years while the students undergo 1 year of training/internship in their field of speciality, in this case which is opthalmology. In this speaciality, students learn in detail about eyes and related diseases.
Placement Experience
One year of internship/training is an important part of the course curriculum. The students get trained in the college's hospital and they work with much experienced doctors that helps them in understanding what happens in real life surgery situations.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for M.S. courses are expensive. Not all students can easily afford the fees and therefore it can not be deemed as feasible amount to them. The students may have to pay Rs. 16.5 lakhs annually as their fees.
Campus Life
The college is more inclined towards providing education to M.S. students than organizing other activities for them as the schedule is a bit hectic for them to follow. However, college fests, etc,. are there for them to participate.
Admission
NEET PG examination is conducted by the medical council of India for the students who wish to pursue masters of surgery post completion of their MBBS students. Interested ones have to obtain good marks in this examination for admission.
Faculty
The faculty members are well educated professionals. They coordinate well with the students and are always there to help them out when in need. They also guide them with respect to their future prospects.
