Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well-structured with a standard quality syllabus, the regular classes are informative and are rarely hectic, we have regular free hours. Internal exams are conducted in Oct and June for evaluation.
Placement Experience
Almost companies from all the sectors like IT, automobile, robotics, manufacturing, construction and design come here for recruitment. Companies are TVS, IBM, Wipro and Infosys to name a few. We are given good training by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is feasible for most of them, if not student loan facility is possible. The fee per year is Rs. 1,30,000 for the first year and then it gradually decreases for the following years, around Rs. 55,000, exclusive of the hostel fee.
Campus Life
We have many extracurricular activities apart from just academics like participating in cultural, celebrating festivals like Onam, Pooja. Dance, ramp walk and many other fun activities, there is a ground for playing cricket and football.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for hostel, the rooms are very spacious with all essential facilities. Food provided is hygienic and nutritious. The fee is Rs 60,000 per year. It is not mandatory to stay in the hostel for every student.
Admission
I got into Vidya vikas First Grade College through counselling, after my boards results came I applied for the college and my name was sorted in merit order and was called for a counselling session for course selection. The minimum percentage is 50% in the boards or any equivalent exam approved by the government of Mysore.
Faculty
Our college has a group of faculty who have outstanding educational records and are known for producing extraordinary results in exams, all of them are very inspiring, they motivate us into doing research and publish our articles.
