Course Curriculum Overview
IBS college has a pretty decent curriculum that is centered around the financial sector, primarily. The dual specialization program really allowed us to to be specialized in two different areas of management. Over a period of four semesters, we learned subjects like business management, economics, financial management, human resource management, operations, etc. The last two semesters include a blend of specialization subjects and additional subjects that were common for the students of all stream.
Placement Experience
Almost 80% of the students were placed before the final exams. While some other students either went for their family business or personal ventures. During my batch, companies like Axis Bank, Airtel, Amul, and Apollo Hospital led the placement drives organized at our campus. The highest package offered went as high as 6-7 LPA and the average package is around INR 3 LPA.
College Events
Numerous events and activities are organized throughout the year at the IBS campus. The session starts with the orientation day as the first event to be organized. Numerous other events like teachers' day, sports day, Gandhi Jayanti, and endless festive celebrations are celebrated with the utmost joy. Annual day is one of the most important events which is celebrated at the founders' Day of the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel and mess food depends on which hostel you are staying into. The college hostel provides better facilities than other hostels there. The other facilities was provided like fridge tv and single seater rooms. The food includes a variety of breakfast having cold coffee and roohafza milk in summer.
Admission
I have selected some of the best colleges in my area, I found IBS to be one of the best platform for MBA. I have cleared MAT examination and visited the campus for interview. With full confidence I have cleared the interview and got selected for one of the best college. Everything in this campus attracted me lot. I was happy to join such a nice batch.
Faculty
Faculty members are good, especially for the finance and operation area. Every concept is taught based on case studies. Our corporate cell invites the industry experts of different subjects so that we can relate theoretical concepts to practical scenarios. In that way, we would also get industry exposure and it also helped to stay abreast of the latest industry updates.
