Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty accumulative the only demerit being that some of the topics are very old and hold minimum value in the present scenario so it is high time that they revise the course and inculcate new topics and latest syllabus.

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell by the name of Training and Placement department whose sole aim is to invite companies to the camps to hire students and also there is a Training and Development cell who aims at grooming the students to be industry ready.

College Events

The academic year begins with the grand freshers party. Then comes the teachers day celebration followed by the AKTU annual cultural and technical fest. There are also various sports events organised including NCC camps and football, cricket, etc matches at college as well as state level.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are good. There are total 4 hostels inside the campus out of which two are boys hostel wherein one is junior boys hostel and the other one is senior boys hostel. One girls hostel and one faculty hostels where the faculty live with their families.

Admission

There are two ways for getting admission in the college. One is through AKTU also known as Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University state exams marks and second is through the direct admission based on the 12th standard board exam result.

The faculty of the college is very supportive and especially for the first year students. The teachers are well qualified and experts in their subjects and the minimum qualification of each of the faculty being masters at the least.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
