College Review

The course curriculum is vast. The curriculum includes Management Process & Organizational Behaviour, Business Mathematics, Financial Accounting & Analysis, Business Economics, Computer Applications, Computer Applications Lab, Cost Accounting, Quantitative Techniques, E Commerce, Ecommerce Lab etc.There are 2-3 lab sessions in a week where student is given practical knowledge. Assignments are provided on weekly basis. Exams are conducted 2 times a year and evaluation is done every quarter semester.

The placement of BCIPS is good. The Placement Cell of BCIPS continuously works around the year to help its students get the best possible corporate exposure. An impressive array of companies comes to BCIPS each year for interviewing and selecting students for Permanent placements, Summer Internships and Live Internships.Companies such as Aditya Birla, AIM India Pvt. Ltd., Apollo Munich, Apollo Munich, BLUPI, Bolde.in, Cars 24, Ceasefire Industries, Chegg India Pvt. Ltd., Cubicle laboratories, Cvent, Delsk etc visit the college campus. The BCIPS Placement Cell is centrally aligned with GGSIPU Centralized Career Guidance & Placement Cell and is supervised by faculty coordinators along with the active participation of Student Placement coordinators. The organizations conducts a Pre placement talk before starting with the selection process. The college does encourages internships namely summer internships. Highest package offered to the students is 5 LPA.

There are many events conducted in college which include Summer Training, Quiz competitions, Essay Writing competitions, Case Study competitions, Debate competitions, Business Plan workshops etc.The events conducted are both technical and cultural. Technical events are conducted in form guest lecture as such guest lecture on ‘Prospective Skills for Derivatives Trading’, workshop on “Basics of Tally”, ED Cell Guest Lecture etc.

There are no hostel facilities provided by the college. However, there are few paying guest (PG) options available near the college. Flats on rent are also available. Paying guest accomodation is a good option than flats on rent. PG's are well maintained and provides good facilities.

I got admission into this college on the basis of rank achieved in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The admission process includes central counselling for all the affiliated colleges by university. Eligibility criteria includes that the student should be pass in 12 class of 10 + 2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject. This is the admission criteria of the college.

The college has a well qualified faculty. The areas of specialization of the faculty are Working Capital Management, Accounting, Investment Management, and Project Management, Customer Relationship Management, International Business and Marketing Management etc. The faculty is very helpful and knowledgeable. Faculty has 25-30 years of experience in their area of expertise. Faculty do represent work outside college. Visiting faculty conducts lectures when needed.
