Course Curriculum Overview
The course follows a semester system. The courses are supported by case studies and assignments which make your life worse specially in the first semester. We are also taught the core management courses to supplement the knowledge of IDM.
Placement Experience
The placement is decent for the IDM course, companies such as ABFRL, Deloitte, Worldbank, L&T Constructions, Rites, IBM, Ultratech, Jacobs and many others which come for internship and final placement.
College Events
Various college events take place in an year in SCMHRD. Starting with outbound learning, war of divisions, Odyssey, Management Conclave, Neev, InfraBlaze, InfraCon etc. The calendar is jam packed with these events.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is average with Mr. Bala's food available till midnight if you are fed up of mess which you tend to feel everyday. Rooms are spacious enough and are triple sharing or double sharing depending upon availability.
Admission
Admission in IDM is also through SNAP. You have to clear the GEPIWAT process. Though the cutoff for IDM is a bit less than the core management program which has a very high cutoff. Moreover you need to be a Engineer, baring IT engineer
Faculty
The faculty are good in terms of the knowledge they have which is backed by industry experience. The subjects are jam packed with assignments and case studies which increase the learning from the course.
