College review

The course structure is academically good but not exactly for research. The exams are hectic as the college follows a 6-trimester system. The labs are small as is the whole campus. So exams in labs are also challenging. The exams are taken twice in a trimester, a mid term and an end term

Placements are Ok. They are better for freshers or people who have a max of 20 months of experience. Internships are provided from college. Also SIP are a 6 credit mandatory course. So every one has to do it.

Genesis the annual fest.lot of management as well as cultural. Case study, b plan competition are there. Along with that street play, dance performance are there. A lot of college students participate in it. Also there are celebrities coming on both the nights of the fest.

Expensive. Its 16L currently except the hostel facilities. This although includes a week programme in Singapore. But still based on the infra and placement it is expensive. There are loans and scholarship assistance although provided by the college.

BOB provides loan. Scholarships are there, info is available on website. Not very sure about the interest rate. But a lot of banks offer aith BOB being lowest. Scholarships are for both the years. And based on merit.

Gender ration approx 48%. Student seminars are there. Quite enriching. Students across the country are here. And it makes the experience better. A lot of mix is there in terms of experience and freshers.

Hostel seats are very few. And they are bad. Extremely inconvenient. No lift, seperate elec bill, bad rooms. Very bad location but nearby from college. Annual fees for the hostel has to be paid at once. And refund is not possible if you withdraw after a month or so. Sub standard food.

Most of them are PhD and are from reputed colleges. There are visiting faculties too fill any gap if it is there. There are helpful and assist in lot of day to day classes as well as for competetions
