Whistling Woods International - [WWI], MBA in media & communication

Remarks

Every point has to be good, just too good about our campus. My previous answers would just say it all. Never, ever did they gave me a chance to complain or a negative opinion about the campus and its facilities.

Entrance Preview

I gave a personalized entrance examination of Whistling Woods International plus a personal interview. The reason why I chose this course was because I wanted to pursue my career into media.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum for the course was the most interesting so far. An add on to this was the practical knowledge & experience I got in these 2 years. Whistling woods International being well-known as a film school, started by Shri Subhash Ghai, it gave me an opportunity to meet and learn straight from the best personalities in the media industry. If this wouldn't have been the case, I'm sure I wouldn't have got a chance to live the most beautiful 2 years of my life. Filled with fun and a lot of learning that got added in my kitty. If ever I get a chance to go back and live those 2 years again, I would definitely choose to be there.

Internships Opportunities

I got a chance to intern with Asia's best PR agency 'Perfect relations'. Again, got an amazing place to intern at with a stipend of Rs. 3,000 per month.

Placement Experience

4.5

I also got placed in a digital agency 'CogMat' in Mumbai, which falls under Top 100 digital agencies in India. Other companies that came to campus were: Viacom 18, Go Quest media, Fountain Head, Aidem Ventures, etc.

College Events

5

The college events celebrated were very different from those celebrated in other campuses. As this was a film-school, we had events & festivals related to the film industry, a few events are mentioned below: Celebrate Cinema, Inspiration 5th Veda.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Post graduation is always way more expensive than graduation. The fee structure was definitely expensive, but there are education loan facilities to make one's life easier.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, there wasn't any scholarship offering. It was a private institution. But, they did give us a chance to go around to various seminars and events. One of those events were FICCI.

Campus Life

5

The campus life and the campus were just beautiful. Rather, I must say that 'beautiful' is an understatement for our campus. Everything from the infrastructure to the faculty was just amazing.

Hostel Facilities

5

I can't rate it on Hostel facilities because I'm a local person. But, the mess food. It was definitely mouth watering. Within our campus we had 3 different options: 1st was a cafeteria which offered us with anything and everything, 2nd was a small cafe like place that served us with all the junk and fast foods, along with various desserts and drinks and the 3rd one was a small place where we could get all the street like food.

Alumni/Alumna

Definitely, every year there's an Alumni meet held in our campus. And, yes we too get a chance and have all the liberty to network around with our Alumnus.

Exam Structure

Here, the examination structure was a little fun though. The kind of internal assignments we got were fun to do. So, it was combination of fun & learning. And a very, very good experience.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
