Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our college is accredited from AICTE and it is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University Kota. My course includes - 4 years programme and six months compulsory internship. It's more practical based rather than theory, which makes it easy to learn.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our senior batch and the previous batches got placed in various companies. The placement percentage was approximately 30% back then , which have rise up to 70%. The salary package offered by the company is 4 lacs per annum, which is minimum.Campus placements are that guaranteed though, since most the companies do not visit our college campus.

College Events

3.5

SKTC organises a tech cum entrepreneur fest every year. Students from other colleges also participate in it. Sports activities are conducted for a week. Teacher's day is celebrated as well as farewell day. Important seminars, events, functions and workshops take place even.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Here, the fee structure depends on the quality of education that is provided to students, which is in no doubt, excellent. The fee structure for any B.tech course here, costs Rs.77,500/- per year. It sums up to Rs. 310,000/- during the end of the course. It is quite feasible.

Campus Life

5

The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. This group has a medical college, so medical facilities are available all the time. There is no hostel for boys, though hostel facility is available for girls. Food that is provided in the canteen is really good. Classrooms are well furnished with speakers and mike setup, also smartboards. Extracurricular activities aren't paid much importance here.

Admission

For Bachelor of Technology, candidates must cleared Senior Secondary Course (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their subjects. Also, there is the Entrance examination which takes place, and on the basis of that, percentage is calculated.

Faculty

5

In SKTC, all the faculty members are dedicated to providing quality education. PowerPoint presentations are used for teaching and giving notes. Most of the teachers are a pass out from the best and top engineering institutes. The student-faculty ratio is 20:1.

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
