Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum fro architecture focuses on design and designing aspects, buliding the creativity of the students. We have a lot of practice sessions in the Design lab, as said before as this mostly involves creativity, it is not hectic at all.

Placement Experience

Placements are not happening for now at this college, they are working on it. Whereas if the student wants to do internships, he/she is open to do. We get job leads from such interships or from our alumni who have settled in good firms.

Our college does not leave out any events without celebrating. Like the following: 1. Ethnic events- Guru purnima, Navrathri, Kite flying. 2. For students- Farewell, fresher's day. 3. National holidays- Independence day, republic day.

Many activities like chai with the author, in which an renown author comes to the university to discuss with the students. Some other events like young minds connect the world, an intellectual event, and the college fest called SYNTHesis.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very transparent, they are very helpful. Some of their names and their work details are mentioned in the website for contact. They can help you in both academics, job search and internships.

Admission

I cleared NATA, JEE mains paper 2 or NATA anything of these two is accepted. The score must be positive. I secured 68% in my boards, the minimum is a 50%. For preliminary steps you need to aplly online and pay the fee after which you will be invited for an entrance test. The result/call letter will be issued shortly after that.

Faculty

4.5

Our faculties are very qualified in this profession. Classes are very interactive and informative, they encourage us to take up research in the field to learn more and keep ourselves updated. Visiting and guest lectures are also equally informative and fun to attend.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Overall, I liked the course and learned a lot about architecture.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
