It is one of the best university for girls/women education they feel safe and protected they have their girls only hostels i think 4 in numbers which are being guarded by private security.

I had given All India AMU-CET, the score i don't know but i got the branch which i opted out. University is unique and having low fee structure being a centrally funded university motivated me to opt for admission.

For the year 2005 Siemens:Rs 25000 month, NDPL:Rs 15000 month, Sterlite:Rs 20000 month, Adobe:Rs 30000 month, Tata communications: Rs 20000 Month, TCS: Rs 25000 Month.

About 50% of the chemical engineering class of 2005 got placed internally via training and placement office at Faculty of engineering and technologylot of companies came with offer ranging from 1.5LPA to 6LPA in the year 2005

Being a central university and having differnet departments at a single campus there were lot of activities/events happens throughout the year,The university has its own Horse riding club, along with Amphitheater and Auditorium besides annual functions of different faculties like ARTS, SCIENCE/ Engineering and Technology/Medical/LAW. Aligs celebrate Sir Syed Day each year on 17th/October.

Its very much feasible even if you opt to give 2-3 private tutions out of campus then also one can afford fees and living. In my grad days i used to give 2 tutions and my parents send me only Rs 1000 monthly which made me learn a lot of other skills.

Well said i do not have availed any scolarship at that time but so many of friends were. like IDB, AMUs own

:Gender ratios were proper in each and every department except mechanical engineering were the ratio is 1/50:WOrkshops were best and s per industrial standards :Labs equipments are worldclass most of them were donated by DRDO and other governemt LABs and institutions.:Like i have already wrote university has its own Horse riding ground/clubpolo ground/Sports qulaified swimming pool/ Amphitheater: One of the Best thing AMU has is its Library which is distinctive by having largest collection of books and built area in whole ASIAN region.

Hostels were big located inside and outside the viscinity of AMU campus and facilities were best round the clock geaser water and electricity even after being located in UP.Mess facility were economical with veg and non-veg option and unlimited meals during Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner. Also each hostel is facilitated with 24hrs tea snacks canteen on chargable basis.

Very helpful and cooperative, Aligs are located setteled worldwide either through service or having their own businessess, its very common to have get togethers during SS days and Festivals in many of the cities of INDIA and in GULF countries.

Its a mix of hectic and chilled out days at AMU Exam structure was bi semester annually in most of the departments.

The best at any scale better than most of the NIT's and similiar to IIT's Most of the faculty members were PhD holders in their respective field. Noted historian Irfan Habib is one of them.
