Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical Engineering is my subject. It is one of the honorable and a weighted subject. An excellent career can be built on it. It is basically four years undergraduate course. It is a full time engineering course. 55% of marks is the minimum score required to get this as a subject.

Placement Experience

PIE has one of the best placement cell that provides personality development program and placement training. These are carried on by experienced, professional and qualified trainers to make us groomed for campus interviews. Several renowned agencies like American Megatrends visited our campus in a search of fresh brains.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee structure is very much affordable. They mainly follow guidelines of Anna University. Fee structure varies for seperate quotas ( Government quota and Management quota). A meritorious brain can easily be a part of our college although being financially weak.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is PIE's habit to encourage and felicitate quality. It award students with excellent academic records. It also provides unlimited scholarships for plus 2 students and Diploma students based on their academic excellency. It also offers scholarship depending on their performances in semesters.

Campus Life

Study is not the only thing encouraged by our college. PIE also appreciate activities like sports. We got to learn from our college that co-curriculum activities enhance spirit of studies and also make oneself physically and mentally fit and strong.

Admission

PIE got the affiliation to Anna University and it is also approved by AICTE New Delhi. They mainly follow Single Window System for admission after passing Higher Secondary Examination. But students can also be admitted through management quota.

Faculty

It is quite futile to discuss about our faculty. They are one of the best faculty group with excellent teaching qualities. Apart from this, we do have a research cell which has the sole objective of research activities and encouraging reasearchers within the campus providing necessary laboratory equipments.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.
