Course Curriculum Overview
Anna University is a renowned university in south India, this college is affiliated under that. Hence, the curriculum is also based on that. The curriculum is neither too complex nor watered down, it basically has all the basic requirements for an engineering student to know about the subject.
Placement Experience
Placement and training cell trains us for the placements in the final year in aptitude and personality development. Students are free to do internships in areas of their interest too. Some of the students get placed and some go for higher education.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is about Rs. 2,00,000 for the whole course (Four years). Rs 50,000 per semester. Most of the students could afford it, if not they are always open to educational loans offered by certain banks, the college accepts that mode of payment too.
Campus Life
We have a ground for games like football and cricket. Our labs are well equipped, as a biomedical student I feel that its sufficient for us to conduct our experiments, the gender ratio is almost equal, we are not differentiated based on anything in this campus.
Admission
I got into SJIET through the Anna University counselling. I secured 70% in my boards, the minimum is 50%. And TNEA score is also considered during the admissions. After applying for counselling we have to wait for the counselling call letter.
Faculty
The faculties of an institute are its strengths. Our faculties are very well qualified for handling this professional course, they are very inspiring, under their guidance we work on our research project for the final semester if given proper attention to their teaching we can even publish papers in some well-known platforms of research.
