Course Curriculum Overview
Civil engineering follows semester system and has a duration of 4 years. There course structure is very good and focuses on a lot of research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.
Placement Experience
The college has commenced its Placement and Training office that has started training and placement efforts to coach the pre-final and final year students. The Placement and Training Cell provides training on communication and personality development, technical and general aptitude, memory, self-confidence, motivation and group discussion skills. Companies like TATA, Mitsuba, Bosch etc come and recruit the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college for civil engineering is around 1 lakh 60 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

The college enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball etc. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fate and many other functions in which many other institutions take part and students get abundant exposure.
Admission
St. Mother Theresa Engineering College, Vagaikulam in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, India is a self-financing engineering college run by the SCAD group of institutions. The institution is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. To get admission, the student should be a pass in Maths, Physics & Chemistry and Vocational stream with Maths at 10 +2 Level of Tamil Nadu Board of Education or equivalent . They will have to go through the process of entrance exam and based on the results, they will be selected.
Faculty
The faculty of the institution is very good. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.
