Remarks

It is a self financing college run by SCAD group of institutions. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna university Chennai. It was established in 2009. Chairman of the college is Dr. S. Cletus babu.

Course Curriculum Overview

Undergraduate courses are BE in computer science, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, mechanical, civil are available. Management studies and humanities, post graduate courses are also available.

Placement Experience

The placement statistics are average. Avg package is 2 lakhs per annum. Companies like TCS, cognizant, bosch, IDBI federal, justdial, mitsuba visit the campus for recruitment. Most of the students prepare for examinations like GATE, SSC etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The BE fee is about 50000 per annum which is affordable. Hostel and mess facilities are good. There is a digital library, play field, auditorium, separate hostels for boys and girls, well equipped laboratories.

Campus Life

NSS, youth red cross, red ribbon club, training for placements, skill development programmes are available. Most of the students are from tamil nadu. The colleege participates in inter college sports tournaments.

Admission

I had given entrance test and got admission in this college through counselling process. The admission process is smooth. One has to show all the intermediate certificates and marksheet to complete the admission process.

Faculty

The faculty members are very supportive. Counsellings and doubt sessions are held by them from time to time. Special classes are arranged for weak students. They also help the students in their preparation for placements.

How I See Sathyabama!

Placement Experience:

The placements is really good. They started our placement training in our 2nd year itself. for the next batches they are starting from first year. They give importance for placements. Many companies visit our college for internships and campus placements. The training is also done by good training institutes like CCC etc. Students are categorised according to their performance in the tests which has aptitude and coding rounds. I myself is a part of Super Dream Batch. There will be a lot of tests but they gradually prepare u for the placements. Highest package last year for arounf 50L per annum and this year its around 41L per annum.

A Detailed Reflective Review on My College Learning Life

Placement Experience:

from the 5th semester students become eligible for intern roles. and from 6th semester they are eligible for full time roles. the highest package is around 50 lpa and the avg is around 4.5-5 lpa i guess i paln to bet placements before the degree itself and would like to see me in a prod based company with a high package

- From semester 7 - There's alot of companies with Amazon being one of them - Highest is amazon with 42.1LPA - about 60 that apply to placements but mostly in low paying companies - Go work and then do higher studies later if I feel like it

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semetser onwards the students are eligible for campus placememnts.Major companies who offer placement are amazon,jpmorgon and oracle with higher packages above 15 to 20 laks.More than 2000 offers were received last year overall for the studenst and the highest package is around 42lpa and nealry 80% of the student get placed (only is theyve applied for the placement).My plan is to place in a company and do masters and working for 1 to 2 years

Good college for growth if you utilize it well

Placement Experience:

Placements here starts around end of 6th sem to 7th semester. the college ovverall maintains above 90% of placement rate. Many companies visit here like Amazon, JP Morgan, Wipro, TCS,Capgemini regularly. The highest package is around 40LPA.

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.
